Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Auburn, Washington. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work on-site with a dynamic IT department. The role involves managing accounts payable processes, handling high-volume transactions, and maintaining financial documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. u2022 Manage the IT department's invoices mailbox, organizing and processing incoming bills and vendor communications. u2022 Oversee the purchasing system workflow, including purchase orders and credit card payments. u2022 Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all financial transactions. u2022 Assist with administrative tasks such as managing inventory deliveries, checking items in and out, and organizing shared spaces. u2022 Handle IT team mail, ensuring timely distribution and communication. u2022 Collaborate with the IT team to streamline financial and administrative procedures. u2022 Monitor and track high-dollar transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable processes. u2022 Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing with a high degree of accuracy. u2022 Ability to manage high-volume transactions efficiently. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. u2022 Effective communication skills and a reliable, team-oriented personality. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
