Description IT Operations Manager Position Summary: u200du200dThe IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all technology operations across the organization. This role provides strategic leadership, ensures system reliability and security, and manages day-to-day IT operations. The IT Manager will lead internal IT staff, manage vendors, and ensure alignment between technology and business needs. u200d Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage the organizationu2019s IT operations and strategy u200du2022 Oversee Microsoft 365 environment, including security, access, and configuration u200du2022 Manage IT staff, including support personnel and future hires u200du2022 Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards u200du2022 Ensure cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, endpoint protection, and monitoring u200du2022 Manage vendor relationships (internet, phone systems, software providers) u200du2022 Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes and system access controls u200du2022 Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability u200du2022 Manage IT budget, forecasting, and cost optimization u200du2022 Lead IT projects and system improvements u200du2022 Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements u200du2022 Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and configurations u200du2022 Provide escalation support for complex technical issues u200du2022 Communicate IT performance and initiatives to executive leadership u200du2022 Maintain a positive, service-oriented relationship with all staff u200du2022 Support organizational mission and operational needs u200d Core Systems focus: u2022 Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID) u200du2022 Identity and access management u200du2022 Endpoint/device management u200du2022 Security tools and monitoring systems u200du2022 Vendor-managed infrastructure (network, internet, etc.) u200d Qualifications: u2022 5+ years of experience in IT operations or systems administration u200du2022 2+ years in a leadership or senior-level role u200du2022 Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security u200du2022 Experience managing vendors and IT projects u200du2022 Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices u200du2022 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills u200du2022 Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff u200d Preferred: u2022 Experience in healthcare or regulated environments u200du2022 Familiarity with endpoint management and security tools u200du2022 Experience building or scaling IT operations Education: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience Requirements Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Cyber security standards, Computer networking Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.u00ae Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
