Description Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Full Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) team. This is a full-time, salaried role with comprehensive benefits, overtime eligibility, and bonus potential. In this position, youu2019ll work on medium- to long-term accounting engagements across a variety of industries and environments. Youu2019ll gain exposure to new systems and processes while making an immediate impact for our clients. Engagements may include: + System conversions + Account reconciliations + Mergers & acquisitions + Audit support + Leave coverage and staff reductions + Peak workload support What Youu2019ll Do: + Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close + Analyze financial statements for management reporting + Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, and capital leases + Support SOX and GAAP compliance + Handle intercompany transactions and ad hoc projects What Weu2019re Looking For: + 3+ years of accounting experience + Strong Excel skills and ERP experience + Ability to adapt in fast-paced, changing environments + Desire to learn and grow across industries Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail. u2022 Proficiency in preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and performing month-end close activities. u2022 Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with general ledger systems. u2022 Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and dynamic work environments. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. u2022 Desire to continuously learn and grow in various industries.
