Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team in Neenah, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in managing invoice processing, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: u2022 Process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system. u2022 Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies by working closely with vendors and internal teams. u2022 Generate financial reports and maintain detailed records of transactions. u2022 Manage sales tax entries and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. u2022 Update and maintain vendor accounts, including adding new information as needed. u2022 Assist with general accounting tasks, such as bank reconciliations, daily deposits, and general journal entries. u2022 Support the team in handling accounts receivable and invoicing when required. u2022 Work with multiple entities to streamline and coordinate financial operations. u2022 Ensure all financial documents, such as invoices and receipts, are properly filed and organized electronically. u2022 Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to address payment-related inquiries. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software. u2022 Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software. u2022 Strong understanding of account reconciliation and general bookkeeping principles. u2022 Experience handling sales tax and related compliance tasks. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities. u2022 Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
