Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description This role involves working in a warehouse environment to sort packages on a conveyor belt, support shipping and receiving activities, and assist with loading, unloading, and pallet wrapping. You will handle mostly light packages and use standard warehouse equipment to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities + Sort packages on a conveyor belt, ensuring accurate placement and efficient flow of items through the warehouse. + Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures. + Support shipping and receiving operations by checking, organizing, and staging incoming and outgoing goods. + Load and unload materials from trucks or staging areas using appropriate equipment when required. + Wrap pallets securely to prepare products for storage or transport. + Operate a pallet jack, including ride-on pallet jacks, to move materials safely throughout the warehouse. + Use an RF scanner to track inventory, confirm orders, and maintain accurate records of product movement. + Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality targets. Essential Skills + Experience working in a warehouse or general labor environment. + Ability to perform packaging, picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and receiving tasks. + Ability to stand for long periods of time during the shift. + Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. + Ability to operate a pallet jack, including ride-on pallet jacks. + Ability to use an RF scanner to scan and track inventory. + Capability to assist with loading and unloading materials safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Comfort working around conveyor belt systems and moving equipment. + Basic understanding of warehouse processes such as order fulfillment and inventory handling. + Attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting, packing, and documentation. + Reliability and strong work ethic to meet daily operational goals. + Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures and safety practices.
