Description Our client in Longmeadow, MA is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant for a contract position. Key Responsibilities: + Perform general ledger reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes + Prepare journal entries and support financial statement preparation + Maintain and update accounting records and files + Process accounts payable and receivable transactions as needed + Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies + Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support special projects Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + Prior experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting support role preferred + Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365) + Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines + Strong communication and interpersonal skills Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
