Special Event Security Officer - Greater Worcester Area Pay Rate: $25.00/hr We are looking for individuals with flexible schedules to work special events. This is not a position with a consistent schedule week to week, and hours are not guaranteed. Seasonal candidates are welcome. We help make your world a safer place. Responsibilities for this position include: u00b7 Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards. u00b7 Access Control: Enforce access control policies, restricting access to authorized personnel only. u00b7 Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents, including medical emergencies, fire hazards, or criminal activity. Report or escalate incidents to law enforcement as needed. u00b7 Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, breaches of security, or safety concerns in clear, accurate, and detailed reports for further action or investigation. u00b7 Conflict Resolution: Handle minor disputes or disturbances, using conflict resolution skills to maintain a calm and safe environment. u00b7 Collaboration: Work closely with other security staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders to coordinate security efforts and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements: u00b7 At least 18 years of age. u00b7 Reliable means of communication and transportation. u00b7 Legal right to work in the United States. u00b7 Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English. u00b7 High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
