Maintenance Technician - Taneytown, MD Pay: $20.00 per hour - OT pay over 40 hrs and weekends Job Type: Full-time (on-site) with permanent opportunity - Dayshift Our client is hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician to support continuous operations in a biosecure agricultural environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with strict biosecurity standards. Responsibilities: + Maintain and repair mechanical systems (HVAC, water, feed, sewer) + Perform facility and grounds maintenance + Follow biosecurity protocols and SOPs + Assist with equipment cleaning, feed delivery, and general operations + Participate in on-call rotation for alarms Qualifications: + Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills + Experience in maintenance, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred + Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain records Requirements: + Able to lift up to 50 lbs + Willing to work weekends/on-call as needed + Comfortable in physically demanding, agricultural environments + Physically able to pass Pulmonary Function Test, Respirator Fit Test and Physical Pre-Placement Test.
