In this role, you will act as a strategic financial leader, collaborating with site management and corporate teams to enhance profitability, operational performance, and cost efficiency. You will oversee all plant-level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide financial leadership by advising site management on strategic decisions, production planning, and capital investments. u2022 Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analyses to identify opportunities for performance improvement. u2022 Manage cost accounting processes, including the development of standard costs and monitoring key manufacturing cost drivers. u2022 Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with purchasing teams to validate product costs and support pricing or margin analysis. u2022 Prepare and present financial statements, dashboards, and reports for site and corporate leadership. u2022 Maintain robust internal controls that comply with corporate policies and audit standards. u2022 Track and report capital expenditures while supporting post-project evaluations. u2022 Develop strategies to optimize working capital and enhance cost performance. u2022 Support sustainability and safety initiatives through financial analysis and tracking of related investments. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in cost accounting, including standard cost development and month-end close processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. u2022 Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Familiarity with Oracle or similar financial systems. u2022 Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. u2022 Strong leadership and team management capabilities. u2022 Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across departments.
