A little bit about our team: The U.S. Shared Services organization is based in WMGu2019s Center of Excellence for Shared Services. The Center consists of five departments: Analysis, Finance, Legal, Licensing, and Reporting. Employees of the Center provide services to all of WMGu2019s U.S. and LATAM record labels, Warner Chappell Music Publishing, WEA Corp. and Alternative Distribution Alliance (WMGu2019s distribution companies), and WMGu2019s other U.S. business units. The Finance Department will be responsible for managing all the center's accounting and cash management functions. As a critical component of the Finance department, the Accounting Operations Group will provide accounting services and support to WMG's LATAM Recorded Music and Music Publishing businesses. Your role: The Finance Manager for Accounting is responsible for overseeing the monthly close process and all aspects of Revenue and Royalty accounting for WMG LATAM businesses. They will liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with SOX requirements as well as managing and developing a team of offshore and on-shore Accountants. Here youu2019ll get to: u25cf Manage the monthly close process including analysis, general ledger entries, and reconciliation review, with a focus on Revenue and Royalty related functions for our LATAM businesses. u25cf Support recorded music label finance and Music Publishing finance by answering questions and performing ad hoc requests around Revenue and Royalty related activities. u25cf Act as Liaison between SSC and Local finance teams in LATAM countries u25cf Work with team to complete submission to corporate and review of related schedules in submitted conjunction with the monthly/quarterly financials u25cf Liaise with internal and external auditors, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements including drafting and updating process narratives, and maintenance of requirement documentation u25cf Maintain strong relationships with finance personnel of affiliates/business units, internal/external auditors, 3rd party vendors, as well as other divisions within WMG u25cf Perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required by Division and/or Directors u25cf Manage, coach, and develop team members both onshore and offshore About you: u25cf Strong leadership and organizational skills u25cf Experience in a management capacity leading month end close in a shared services environment u25cf Shared Services mindset: drive efficiency, standardize processes, across different LATAM territories, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) u25cf Experience managing onshore and offshore teams u25cf Experience with Revenue and Royalty accounting, understanding of ASC 606 u25cf BA/BS in Accounting/Finance u25cf Bilingual English/Spanish u25cf SAP S4 Experience u25cf Excellent Excel/Microsoft Office skills u25cf Excellent oral and written communication skills needed in interacting with internal/external parties u25cf Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines u25cf Strong analytical skills in reviewing accounting transactions Weu2019d love it if you also had: u25cf CPA a plus and Masters of accounting a plus u25cf Royalty Systems experience a plus u25cf 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial audit, preferably with Big 4 and private industry u25cf Industry knowledge a plus u25cf Bilingual in Portuguese a plus As the home to 10K Projects, Asylum, Atlantic Music Group, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the worldu2019s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
