Job Title: Rhino DesignerJob Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Rhino Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing drawings and documentation throughout the lifecycle of projects, from Design to Engineering, and facilitating the transition into Production. You will have shared ownership of projects from assignment through to installation, ensuring successful implementation at every stage. Responsibilities + Develop and verify product layouts and designs, ensuring accuracy by communicating with project and process leads. + Create custom design solutions and products for boutique projects in collaboration with the Design Manager. + Participate in client meetings to discuss feedback and maintain product requirements. + Package complete product specifications for Design, Engineering, and Production. + Work on internal product development or special projects with project or process leads. + Maintain digital organization and accuracy of project files and documentation. + Provide physical presence and assistance on the Production and Assembly floor as scheduled. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Rhino for producing 3D drawings. + Experience in producing construction documents, including reflective ceiling plans and floor plans. + Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. + Experience in architectural design, interior architecture, and schematic design. + Knowledge of fabrication, CNC, and digital fabrication processes. + 2-5 years of professional experience in a commercial-based architecture/design firm. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch). + Experience with rendering, layouts, and interior design. + Familiarity with digital fabrication processes. + Visualization skills using various software. + Experience in design that results in a manufactured or built product. Work Environment This role is primarily in-office, with work hours typically from 8:30/9:00 am to 5/5:30 pm. Employees have the option to work from home on Fridays, subject to HR approval. Our office is located in a beautiful space attached to the showroom in the Merch Mart. The design team consists of approximately 20 members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
