Overview Influential Sports is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven VP, Account Management to lead senior client partnerships and oversee the successful delivery of integrated sports marketing programs. This role serves as a primary client leadership contact, responsible for ensuring athlete, creator, sponsorship, and experiential investments translate into meaningful brand impact and long-term partnership growth. The VP will act as a trusted advisor to clients, bringing proactive thinking, cultural fluency, and operational leadership to complex sports and influence-driven engagements. Internally, this individual will guide cross-functional teams spanning strategy, talent partnerships, media, and activation to ensure programs are executed seamlessly and deliver measurable value. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is deeply fluent in sports and creator marketing, and is motivated by building enduring client relationships grounded in trust, performance, and innovation. Responsibilities u25cf Serve as the senior relationship lead across key client accounts and internal agency teams, fostering strong executive-level partnerships and acting as a trusted strategic advisor. u25cf Oversee the end-to-end delivery of integrated sports marketing programs, ensuring athlete, creator, sponsorship, media, and activations are executed to the highest standard. u25cf Partner with strategy, talent partnerships, and activation teams to translate client objectives into clear scopes of work and actionable campaign plans. u25cf Guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across timelines, deliverables, performance expectations, and reporting outputs. u25cf Provide proactive recommendations and thought leadership that help clients maximize the value of their sports and cultural investments. u25cf Monitor program performance and deliver clear insights and optimization opportunities that strengthen campaign outcomes and client confidence. u25cf Support account growth by identifying opportunities to expand partnerships, introduce new capabilities, and deepen client engagement over time. Qualifications u25cf 7-10+ years of experience in client services, account leadership, sports marketing, influencer marketing, media, or integrated agency environments. u25cf Proven success managing senior-level client relationships and leading complex, multi-channel marketing programs. u25cf Strong understanding of the sports marketing ecosystem, including sponsorships, athlete partnerships, creator marketing, experiential activations, and media integration. u25cf Strategic thinker with the ability to connect cultural insight, audience understanding, and performance data to actionable client recommendations. u25cf Confident communicator and presenter who can build trust with executive stakeholders. u25cf Highly organized operator with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-profile initiatives simultaneously. u25cf Collaborative leader who can motivate and align cross-functional teams around shared client goals. u25cf Commercially aware with experience supporting revenue growth, program profitability, and long-term partnership expansion. Compensation Range: $170,000 - $180,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
