The Operator runs and maintains fillers in a continuous flow vatto process milk, cream, and other dairy products, following specificmethods and formulas.As the Culture Machine Operator, you will be responsible for thequality, food safety, and product specifications.Responsibilities:- Clean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment.- Complete all required quality checks and documentation.- Collect the required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing.- Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product.- Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check vat as needed.- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.- Perform filler equipment and filler line changeovers for the next run safely.- Working knowledge with wrapper operations; watch for jams and effectively thread product wrap.- Complete the cleaning checklist once the line has completed the run.- Follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures and report any deficiencies.- Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.- Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and SQF requirements.- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
