MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As an AI/ML Engineer/Architect, your work at GDIT will be directly aligned with the mission of GDIT's Defense sector. You will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering AI/ML solutions that enable faster decisionu2011making, enhanced situational awareness, and improved operational readiness. + Lead/Manage/Support the development of AI/ML architectures for fleet operations, cyber defense, and logistics, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with DoW standards. + Collaborate with crossu2011functional teamsu2014including data scientists, systems engineers, and enterprise architectsu2014to translate complex requirements into robust, deployable solutions. + Drive key outcomes such as reduced data processing times, increased predictive accuracy, and accelerated AI model deployment across command networks. + Utilize cuttingu2011edge technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, and secure multiu2011party computation to meet the Defense sector's stringent security and performance requirements. + Design and implement agentic AI systems leveraging Crew AI, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable tool use, memory, and multi-step autonomous task execution. The AI Engineer/ Architect must have: u25cf Education: Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or another STEM field. u25cf Experience: 8+ years of related experience in AI/ML engineering, solution architecture, and system integration, with a proven track record in defense or federal government environments. u25cf Technical skills: + Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikitu2011Learn). + Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). + Experience with secure data pipelines, encryption, and compliance with DoW security controls. + Ability to develop and present AI proposals, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and implementation roadmaps. u25cf Security clearance level: Active Secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET/SCI u25cf US citizenship required u25cf Role requirements: + Excellent consultative selling skills; ability to engage stakeholders, identify new opportunities, and articulate the value of AI/ML solutions. + Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to distill complex requirements into actionable deliverables and guide multidisciplinary teams. + Willingness to travel (up to 25%) and work on-site at GDIT facilities as needed. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employeeu2019s date of hire.
