Description We are looking for a skilled 1+ Year Civil Litigation Attorney to join our law firm client's team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse array of legal matters, including motion practices, discovery, depositions, and court hearings. Trial experience is valued but not required, and we provide a competitive compensation package with growth potential. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft, review, and file legal motions, pleadings, and other court documents. u2022 Conduct discovery processes, including gathering and analyzing evidence and preparing discovery responses. u2022 Represent clients in depositions and court hearings, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated. u2022 Collaborate with clients to provide legal advice and develop case strategies tailored to their unique situations. u2022 Manage multiple case files efficiently, maintaining accurate documentation and meeting deadlines. u2022 Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation to resolve disputes effectively. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and argumentation. u2022 Prepare for and assist in trial proceedings, including witness preparation and evidence presentation. u2022 Maintain compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards. u2022 Stay updated on changes in civil litigation laws and regulations to provide informed counsel. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation practice. u2022 Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle a high volume of work efficiently. u2022 Excellent written and oral communication skills for drafting documents and presenting cases. u2022 Attention to detail and analytical skills to assess legal issues and develop strategies. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.
