Job Description

The Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience by providing friendly service, accurate order entry, and efficient transaction processing. This role ensures every guest feels welcomed, understood, and satisfied while maintaining operational excellence, Passion for Service and food safety standards.Welcoming guests every visit Be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions, upselling and answer questionsVerify each guest order for accuracy, Dine-in and “to-go” orders Complete required Online Ordering (OLO) accuracy verification procedures*Accurately enter orders into the POS system while maintaining speed and hospitalityHandle cash, credit, and digital payments in accordance with company cash control policiesResolve guest concerns or escalate to management when necessaryCount register before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortage or overage Assist with front-line food preparation procedures such as packaging and delivering orders to tables Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality productsCommunicate and work effectively with others in a busy restaurant environmentMaintain front counter, lobby/patio and bathroom cleanliness, organization, and restocking of suppliesMaintain sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards in accordance with company and local regulationsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all timesLearn different stations to assist in other operational areas as neededPerform other duties as assigned to support business operations and team needsMust be 18 years of age or olderPreferred: 1+ year of experience in similar rolesBasic math skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredBasic computer skills and ability to operate POS systemsCustomer service experience preferredAbility to lift and push 50 lbs.Ability to stand for long periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have great interpersonal communication skills to work with othersMust adhere to company food safety, and personal hygiene standardsDemonstrates a guest-first mindset in all interactionsFriendly, welcoming, and service-oriented attitudeDemonstrate positive energy and a strong sense of urgencyEnergetic Team Player - Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals and prevent service delaysAttention to detailsTake ownership of assigned station and responsibilitiesRemain calm and focused under pressureDemonstrate reliability and punctuality Proactively help where it is most needed in the restaurantWillingness to cross-train and develop new skillsUSD $16.50/Hr.
