Ideal Fit + Construction accounting experience (HVAC, mechanical, or GC) + Wants a career home, not a stepping stone + Comfortable being in the weeds and owning the work Key Responsibilities (Handsu2011On): + Own daily cash activity, deposits, invoice coding, approvals, and change orders + Manage construction billings, A/R aging, job costing, WIP, and cashu2011flow reporting + Process weekly & semiu2011monthly payroll, including certified payroll + Perform monthu2011end close: bank recs, credit cards, journal entries, sales & use tax + Prepare OCIP/CCIP reporting, lien releases, and workersu2019 comp reporting + Deliver financial statements and A/R aging to banks + Handle quarterly payroll tax filings and annual audits, Wu20112s, and compliance reporting Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries. u2022 Strong skills in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation. u2022 Familiarity with construction accounting practices and job costing methodologies. u2022 Experience processing payroll, including certified payroll reporting. u2022 Knowledge of compliance requirements such as sales tax filings and workers' compensation reporting. u2022 Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills.
