We invite you to join our team!What You'll Do:As a Regional Manager of Maintenance and Facilities, our long-term nursing and rehabilitation care centers will rely on your expertise in building systems and facilities management to ensure all structural and mechanical aspects of the center are well maintained and provide a safe and comfortable healing environment for residents, families, and staff. You will be a resource, consultant, educator, inspector, and leader regarding preventive maintenance, critical system repairs, building improvements and regulatory compliance of the physical plant.The scope of this role will include care centers in Upstate NY, and Vermont and is best suited for candidates in the Capital, Catskill, and Hudson Valley regions of NY.A company car is provided for personal and professional use including insurance, maintenance and mileage reimbursement for work related travel.Key Responsibilities:Ultimate responsibility for all aspects of preventive maintenance, equipment and mechanical system repairs, and improvements to the long-term care center physical plants across an assigned regionDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing operation of critical health care systems and infrastructureEducate long-term care center teams and ensure compliance to all building safety, sanitation, and health codes for plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other building systems in a long-term care nursing and rehabilitation facilityEnsure all applicable life safety, environment of care and fire safety codes including NFPA 101 for healthcare facilities are followedParticipate in the hiring, training, and performance management of maintenance, building trades, housekeeping and other facilities staffAssist in managing facility capital improvement projects, building renovations, and mechanical system upgrades to ensure the buildings, building systems, and properties remain functional over their expected lifespanCollaborate with care center staff to address resident needs related to maintenance, housekeeping and the environment of careIf you are a facilities manager or maintenance director with experience in a long-term care nursing and rehabilitation setting and want to make a difference through the healing power of a safe, functional, and clean environment, we invite you to join our team as a Regional Manager of Maintenance and Facilities.What We OfferAs an affiliate of National Health Care, our Poughkeepsie team enjoys:Competitive compensation and benefits packageComprehensive training and mentorshipOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive and collaborative work environmentThe chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residentsUSD $105,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.What You'll Bring:Qualifications of a Regional Manager of Maintenance and Facilities include:7+ years managing maintenance, repair and mechanical system improvement projects in a long-term care nursing and rehabilitation or other healthcare environmentMUST have thorough knowledge of safety, sanitary, health and fire codes applicable to long-term care facilities and building systemsExperience or licensed in a building trade (electrician, plumber, HVAC tech, etc.) is preferred but not requiredExperience in costing, planning and executing capital improvement projects3+ years managing institutional housekeeping or laundry services preferred5+ years of supervisor experienceAbility to lead a decentralized team and influence stakeholders to maintain a safe, functional and clean physical plantAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time efficientlyStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standardsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWe Hire for Heart!National Health Care Associates (National) is proud to be a family-run organization since 1984.
