These components represent our strong value alignment, positively impacting patient care, infection prevention, and throughput.The Cleaner Lead is responsible for overseeing assigned work team(s) and/or service areas, ensuring all work is performed to company quality standards and in accordance with the client’s Statement of Work.This position supports supervisors in maintaining operational excellence, training new associates, promoting safety, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.Oversee assigned team(s) and work areas to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with site-specific proceduresAssist with onboarding and training new associates on:Safety programsCompany policies and proceduresProper cleaning processes and equipment usageInspect work during and after completion to verify compliance with scope of work, schedules, and quality standardsEnsure restroom, clean room, and other logged areas are completed properly and initialed by assigned associatesPromote safety as a culture and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Perform custodial duties in accordance with established cleaning proceduresAssist supervisors in motivating staff and fostering a positive, professional work environmentIdentify and report custodial or operational issues to managementMonitor inventory and distribute supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective useEnsure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs in a timely mannerMay drive a company vehicle to transport supplies or travel between job sites (if applicable)Minimum 2 years of custodial cleaning experience in a lead role, or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety practices, and quality standardsProficient verbal and written communication skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredStrong time management and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and leadership abilitiesAbility to work independently and lead by exampleCertification: May require specialized training in Cleanroom, Electro Static Discharge (ESD) and otherspecialty service policies and procedures and certification in specialized equipment.Environment: Will vary considerably depending upon the clients business that can range from heavy industrial environments (aerospace, factories, refineries, etc.) to office complexes. Long periods of walking, standing, sitting and lifting. Weather changes based on the geography and time of year.Covid-19vaccination requirements may vary by client site.
