Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Infotainment Engineer to perform OTA evaluations across various carlines and systems to identify OTA robustness, potential issues and compatibility across various vehicle/ECU source and target versions. Your day to day will consist of receiving OTA testing requests from the Korea team, download the required software from the server, and gather production vehicles or borrow cars from Kia or Hyundai for testing. Each day involves flashing the vehicle ECUs to different software versions, running over the air update tests, and making sure the software successfully transfers from the cloud to the car. You repeat these update cycles many times, usually 10u201320 or more, while watching for issues. Any problems you find are documented clearly and reported to the appropriate teams, and once fixes are provided, you re test to confirm everything works correctly.
