No County Clinton Street Address 101 Broad Street City Plattsburgh State NY Zip Code 12901 Duties Description Holding primary responsibility for clerical support within Social Work and the EHHS Deanu2019s Office, this position performs a wide range of administrative duties to support daily operations. Responsibilities include assisting with event planning; compiling and generating reports; performing data entry; and completing general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, managing email correspondence, and answering and directing main office phone calls. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, supporting calendar management, and coordinating travel arrangements for Assistant/Associate Deanu2019s, as well as supporting departments with grant-funded programs. The position also performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth and effective operation of Social Work department and the Deanu2019s Office. Additional Comments The purpose of this position is to provide office support to the Social Work Department and EHHS Deanu2019s Office. In support of the Social Work Department, Associate Deanu2019s and all other Deanu2019s Office staff, this position performs various clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills, along with the ability to manage files and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Social Work is part of the School of Education, Health, and Human Services which prepares students for successful entry into their chosen profession. We focus on an ethical approach to human well-being and encourage critical thinking and practical application.
