We're seeking a Warehouse Operator to work at a local company in Lakeland, FL 33803. If this sounds like the right fit for you, read on and apply + Rotating Shift Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off 12-hour shifts. Schedule will begin 8am-5pm for training, then transition to 12 hours a day. The transition could be 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am as needed. + Pay Rate: $19.00 to $20.00 DOE + Temp to hire Roles and Responsibilities: + Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. + Load and unload citrus pallets and crates from trucks and storage areas. + Transport citrus products between production, storage, and shipping areas. + Stack products in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines. + Inspect and maintain forklift equipment, reporting any mechanical issues. + Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed. + Keep work areas clean and organized, complying with sanitation standards relevant to food production. + Follow company policies regarding safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Provide training and support to junior team members as needed. Preferred Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Valid forklift operator certification/license. + Previous experience working in a warehouseu2014citrus or food industry experience is beneficial. + Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand and walk for extended periods. + Attention to detail and commitment to safety. + Good communication and teamwork skills. + Knowledge of warehouse software or experience with inventory systems is a plus.
