Electromechanical Assembly Technician Camas, WA 8am-5pm Day Shift Job Description Engage in mechanical assembly, point-to-point electrical wiring, soldering, and wire harness assembly. Work in a prototype environment using schematics and drawings for new product builds. Responsibilities + Perform harness assembly, soldering, box assembly, and button-up tasks. + Conduct final testing within the electrical assembly department. + Work extensively with harnesses and soldering, following schematics and diagrams. + Perform mechanical assembly as needed. Essential Skills + Electronic assembly and blueprint reading. + Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints. + Experience with hand and power tools is required; shop tools such as lathes, mills, and drill press experience is desired. + Prior experience with mechanical assembly, point-to-point electrical wiring, soldering, and wire harness assembly. + Inspection, testing quality assurance, and troubleshooting electronics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Point-to-point wiring and experience with harnessing wires. + Assembly experience within a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with power screwdrivers and hand tools. + Basic computer, typing, and math skills. + Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or detailed work instructions. + Prior testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred. + Fabrication experience with mills, lathes, and drill press is a plus. + Experience in prototype builds, R&D labs, or low volume manufacturing.
