Description Weu2019re proactively building a pipeline of Lead Access Control & Video Surveillance Technicians for upcoming contract-to-hire opportunities with a growing security technology team. These roles focus on supporting commercial and industrial environments, delivering high-quality installation, configuration, and support of electronic security systems. This is a hands-on opportunity for technicians who enjoy working in the field, solving problems, and owning projects from install through completion. What Youu2019ll Be Doing: + Install, program, and service access control systems (controllers, readers, locks, door hardware, power supplies) + Deploy and maintain IP-based video surveillance systems including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and VMS platforms + Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, composite) + Troubleshoot system issues across hardware, software, and network connectivity + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams + Support system commissioning, preventative maintenance, and client handoff + Document work performed and provide basic end-user training Work Environment & Structure: + Primarily onsite (approx. 65%) with regional travel (~35%) + Typical daytime schedule; occasional second shift if project timelines require + Work across commercial and industrial sites, including K-12 environments Requirements What Weu2019re Looking For: + 2+ years of experience with access control and/or video surveillance systems + Solid understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, PoE; VLANs a plus) + Experience in commercial electronic security environments + Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail + Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams + Valid driveru2019s license and ability to pass background/drug screening Nice to Have: + Certifications with Verkada, Avigilon, Axis, LenelS2, Milestone, Software House (Cu2022CURE), or similar + Experience with cloud-managed or enterprise-level security platforms + Exposure to intercoms, intrusion detection, or related systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.u00ae Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
