SUMMARY OF POSITION: + Conduct physical exams, health assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and make referrals as necessary + Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions + Document patient encounters and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes + Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and stay current on best practices in healthcare + Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): + Masteru2019s degree in Nursing + Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment + Basic Life Support (BLS) PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): + Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CRNP in the Emergency Department WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
