JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector - Return Goods DEPARTMENT: Quality REPORTS TO: Quality Manager JOB CODE: MAJOR FUNCTION Responsible for overseeing and managing the return of goods from customers back to the company. This position is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring customer satisfaction by processing returns efficiently and effectively. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Process returned machines and parts in accordance with company policies. u2022 Inspect returned items for damage or defects. u2022 Document the condition of returned products accurately. u2022 Maintain accurate records of all returned product. u2022 Assist in quality control efforts by identifying recurring return issues. u2022 Accurately interprets the requirements and keeps required Quality Assurance records. u2022 Physically and systematically move machines and parts. u2022 Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: u2022 Experience in warehouse environments. u2022 Familiarity with inventory management systems. u2022 Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed. u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. u2022 Strong attention to detail. u2022 Excellent organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. u2022 Effective communication skills. The estimated range indicates the expected hourly pay for this position. It does not include potential bonus incentives such annual or performance bonus' as well as sales and sales related incentives, or overtime. The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, differentials, and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the job's location. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
