Job Summary and Qualifications Responsible for coordinating services, repairs, and preventive maintenance on hospital equipment. Procures materials, equipment, and parts for use in the Engineering Services Department. Retains records of hospital service contracts, preventive maintenance, service and repair, and performs all other secretarial duties assigned. Duties & Responsibilities: + Compiles departmental time records, prepares FTE reports and payroll reports and submits documents to the Director of Engineering for approval. + Coordinate service and repairs on all hospital equipment for all departments. Receives services reports, monitors cost and completes request for purchase. + ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. All employees will be held accountable for attending training regarding the Code of Conduct program at least annually. + Maintains up to date personnel records on each engineering employee, including vacation, holiday, sick leave, training in-service, etc. + Performs all other duties as assigned. + Prepares purchase request for parts and materials necessary to make repairs and upgrade to plant operations and other hospital equipment. You must follow up on orders and shipping dates to ensure orders are received without unnecessary delay. + Provide all necessary clerical support for the Engineering Department. + Provides all necessary clerical support for the Engineering Department to include, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, answering the phones, etc. What qualifications you will need: + No Travel Required + 2 years experience Required in a Hospital or plant preferred.
