Position: Facilities AttendantLocation: Fairhope, AL Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Attendant for a full-time opportunity in Fairhope, AL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The pay is $17 hourly. Duties: Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. Carry out floor care tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring that all rooms are stocked appropriately. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishment when necessary. Uphold hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality while performing housekeeping tasks. Requirements Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to provide exceptional hospitality service. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
