Your role and responsibilities As an Aviation Inspector/Technician, you will perform inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of company-operated aircraft to ensure exceptional reliability and availability. You will also ensure compliance with all manufacturers, IBM, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) specifications. Your primary responsibilities will include:u2022 Conduct Aircraft Inspections: Perform inspections of company-operated aircraft to ensure proper operation in compliance with all manufacturers' specifications and maintain Airworthiness Compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's) and IBM Regulations.u2022 Maintain Records: Maintain all necessary and appropriate records required by IBM SOP's and applicable FAR regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Repair Station certificate.u2022 Resolve Discrepancies: Work with FAA inspectors to identify and resolve any discrepancies.u2022 Ensure Compliance: Ensure aircraft, ground support equipment, and tooling are in compliance with all manufacturers, IBM, and FAA specifications.u2022 Perform Maintenance: Perform maintenance and upgrades of company-operated aircraft to ensure exceptional reliability and availability.
