Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and financial skills to contribute to a dynamic wholesale distribution environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Oversee billing functions, including preparing and issuing invoices to clients. u2022 Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Support month-end closing activities by compiling and reviewing financial data. u2022 Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with company policies. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address and resolve discrepancies in financial records. u2022 Maintain organized documentation of financial transactions for auditing purposes. u2022 Provide support for additional accounting tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment. Requirements u2022 Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Familiarity with billing functions and account reconciliation. u2022 Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices. u2022 Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract position. u2022 Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
