Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Eagan, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in managing complex financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving strategic insights. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing operations and supporting organizational growth. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead monthly accounting processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities. u2022 Prepare and analyze complex general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Investigate discrepancies in financial data and provide clear responses to inquiries. u2022 Analyze financial outcomes to identify trends, variances, and support estimates like accruals and reserves. u2022 Create and distribute customized financial reports using data visualization tools to enhance decision-making. u2022 Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives. u2022 Assess financial performance against plans and forecasts, delivering strategic recommendations. u2022 Drive process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency. u2022 Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic projects, supporting organizational objectives. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software solutions into existing systems. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred. u2022 At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a dynamic and growth-focused organization. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in import/export functionality. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a history of innovative solutions. u2022 Experience managing software system implementations and integrations. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
