Digital Cutting Operator - Manufacturing/Production Location: Holland, MI Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | 40 hours/week Department: Production Reports To: Production Supervisor Pay: $20.48 Job Summary This role is responsible for operating digital cutting equipment, spreading machines, and CAD-based cutting software to accurately cut materials according to production plans and work instructions. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial equipment operation, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Load and unload roll materials into spreading machines, ensuring correct machine settings based on material type Calculate spread lengths using cut files, CAD data, and production plans to maximize material utilization Operate digital cutting equipment to cut, drill, and mark materials according to CAD and production requirements Load, nest, and manage cut files using production software Maintain accurate material and machine file libraries within PC systems Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) on digital cutting equipment Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial environments required CNC and/or CAD experience highly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Physical Requirements & Work Environment Low to moderate noise levels Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, and climb as needed Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally Frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and fine motor tasks Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to focus #2743HLI
