They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their team. This is a great long-term, full-time opportunity for a skilled professional looking to contribute to a growing and innovative company. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manage bank reconciliations and weekly payroll processing Post journal entries and prepare the trial balance Manage general ledger reconciliations and perform month-end closings Record and maintain daily accounting transactions Handle government remittances, ROEs, and T4s Perform job costing and prepare Work-In-Progress (W.I.P.) reports Complete customs documentation for imports and exports Process FedEx/Purolator shipping paperwork Administer the company benefit plan Reserve and maintain lodging requirements as needed Assist with general administrative tasks and other related duties as required Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service Perform filing and document management as required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and office administration Proficient in Sage 300, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills Proven ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Additional Information: Start on Express Employment Professionals’ payroll, with the opportunity for direct hire upon successful completion of the evaluation period.
