Manager, Visual Merchandising - US Consumer Beauty VISUAL MERCHANDISING MANAGER, CoverGirl & Rimmel TRADE MARKETING u2013 New York, NY COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate. The In-Store Strategy and Planogramming team is responsible for leading the Comprehensive Wall Process where the strategic development of the Consumer Beauty National + Top Accountsu2019 POG Strategy is created and aligned against throughout the internal organization. Other core functions include: + Work with customer teams to ensure all POG needs are completed on time and are consistently merchandised within our national POG strategy + Cross-functional collaboration with the marketing, creative and trade marketing teams to ensure seasonal add/deletes, customer team deliverables and internal process/planning documents are completed accurately and on time RESPONSIBILITIES As our Visual Merchandising Manager, you are responsible for leading the comprehensive wall process where the strategic development of the Cosmetic National & Top Account POG Strategy is created and aligned throughout the internal organization Your main focus: + _Work with the customer teams to ensure all POG needs are completed on time and all POGs are consistently merchandised within our national strategy_ + _Cross-functional collaboration with the marketing, creative and trade marketing teams to ensure seasonal add/deletes, customer team deliverables and internal process/planning documents are completed accurately and on time_ + _Work with Permanent Merchandising to prepare financially responsible recommendations to merchandise new items in account specific fixture environments_ + _Attend/present POG Strategy presentations at Top Accounts_ + _Manage all graphic and fixture coding requirements_ + _Maintain product image library to be used within ProSpace (POG Software)_ + _Manage space management brokers to ensure merchandising guidelines and internal timeline deliverables are completed in full and on time_ + _Maintain knowledge of space management tools and database applications to continually offer new insight and support for both internal and external requirements_ + _Ad hoc planogram and merchandising projects_ Working for Coty means our people make us who we are. QUALIFICATIONS Weu2019d love to see candidates who have: _Essential:_ + _4 year college degree_ + _3+ years prior experience in consumer package goods company_ + _MUST be Proficient in JDA Space Planning Software; including IKB and ProSpace_ + _Experience working collaboratively with multiple teams_ + _Ability to work with cross functional teams_ + _Strong organizational and project management skills_ + _Must be a self-starter_ + _Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills_ + _Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint_ + _Work in NYC headquarter office_ _Desirable:_ + _Must possess excellent analytical, interpretive, interpersonal and presentation skills._ + _Ability to develop presentations that execute product, company and customer business plans._ + _Comprehensive knowledge of the consumer products industry, the category, brand strategies, competitors, classes of trade, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems successfully._ + _Demonstrates effective communication and negotiation skills to solve problems, gain agreement with and inform others, while targeting long-term objectives. Uses facts and data analysis to identify good options and make good decisions._ + _Ability to create fact-based presentations to translate sales objectives into customer strategy and business plans around distribution, merchandising, promotion and planogram placement._ _Desirable:_ + _Previous experience in beauty or customer support preferred_ + _Sense of urgency and drive for activation_ + _Ability to lead through ambiguity_ + _Knowledge how to pull and use data from Nielsen, IRI, Spectra, Household Panel_ OUR BENEFITS This is unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
