Job Description The Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Resident receives clinical training according to CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs) guidelines. The Resident is encouraged to participate in ongoing research projects in the department. Qualifications Graduate of a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program or having completed a CAMPEP-accredited certificate program , 215 - Radiation Physics Residency - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital Responsibilities pletes and passes all required clinical rotations listed in the Physics Residency Program. 2.Provides routine clinical services under the supervision of the Medical Physicists, including: a.Weekly chart check b.Machine monthly and annual quality assurance and commissioning c.Brachytherapy treatment planning and delivery d.External beam treatment planning and delivery e.Special procedures 3.Performs research projects and publishes the results in peer-review journals. 4.Teaches therapy students. 5.Other related duties as assigned.
