Job Description The New York City Department of Investigation (u201cDOIu201d) is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country; its mission is to combat municipal corruption. DOI serves the people of New York City by acting as an independent and nonpartisan watchdog for New York City government, City agencies, and City employees, vendors with City contracts, individuals and entities that receive City funds. DOI is seeking a candidate that will assist the Inspector General and Director of the Vendor Integrity Unit to manage the operations of the unit which is comprised of a professional staff of analysts and investigators who engage in the performance of confidential and specialized investigations into allegations of corruption, official misconduct, fraud, waste and inefficiency primarily involving vendors with City contracts.
