Job Title: Carpenter Helper Job Description Join our team as a Carpenter Helper, where you will be responsible for installing exterior wall panel systems, metal roofing, custom wall facades, and waterproofing. You will receive training on the installation of wall panels, and will use tools to cut and install these panels while ensuring structures are waterproofed with sealant prior to installation. Responsibilities + Install exterior wall panel systems and metal roofing. + Create custom wall facades and perform waterproofing tasks. + Receive and apply training on wall panel installation. + Use tools to accurately cut and install wall panels. + Ensure structures are waterproofed with sealant before panel installation. Essential Skills + Previous construction experience is a must. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + Comfortable working at heights. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Experience in carpentry, roofing, and framing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferred previous construction experience. + Valid driver's license required. + Ability to drive to various locations across the valley. + Possession of personal tools necessary for the job. Work Environment Work at various job sites around the valley, including TSMC, QTS Data Center, and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. You will be part of a team with 4-5 crew members and a foreman. Start times vary from 5am-7am depending on the season and site. Be prepared to work at heights and in high temperatures during the summer. All necessary PPE, including work boots, hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, and gloves, will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
