This is a meaningful role where you will serve as both a coach and an advocate helping others learn job tasks, supporting success on the job, and building strong relationships with community employers.Employment Support Specialist Job Duties:- Teach and role model job duties for the people on your case load.- Collaborate on a client's, families, and team members to build individualized employment plans.- Provide on-the-job support, skill-building, and creative solutions to help clients master responsibilities.- Complete all daily case notes and other documentation in a timely manner.- Create a task list for your client based on employer expectations.- Flexibility with work schedule.- Must also be able to work professionally and responsively with community employers.- Must have excellent communication skills with an emphasis on listening and patience.u00a0Qualifications:- Possess initiative, creativity, strong interpersonal skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Keen organizational skills- Demonstrate integrity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusion and equity- Be able to work independently as well as in teams.- Experience with The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a very strong plus with this positionRequirements:- Minimum age of 18- High School Diploma or GED- Must pass all required background checks- Must have valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportationCompensation:u00a0$21.00 per hour.
