The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position. We seek a collaborative and accomplished academic investigator with a strong commitment to translational research. The successful candidate will lead and advance a translational research program focused on the development and application of a nonhuman primate model of inflammation in baboons. This work is central to elucidating the mechanisms of inflammation and its impact on maternal and fetal outcomes. The Assistant Professor will design and execute innovative research studies, maintain precise and comprehensive scientific records, and ensure full compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory requirements. The role requires both independent initiative and active collaboration with multidisciplinary teams spanning basic, translational, and clinical research domains.
