It's exciting to work for a company that makes the world measurably better.We're committed to bringing safety, quality, and customer focus to the business of advanced ceramics manufacturing.Job TitleClean Room Associate IResponsible for visually inspecting, cleaning, labeling and packaging product in a Clean Room environment.Roles & ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, assists with visual inspection, cleaning, packaging and labeling product according to customer specifications and Company clean room proceduresOperate automated blasting and automated cleaning lines, including loading parts into fixtures, selecting the correct program, and monitoring the process while parts run independentlyFollows established Glove and Gown protocols for Clean Room duties reporting any deviations to appropriate personnel to ensure product non-contaminationReceives and stages product for manufacturing into Clean Room following all proceduresMaintains cleaning tanks, walls, tables and fixtures in clean room following established Clean Room proceduresAccurately completes required nonconformance reports ensuring accurate recordsMaintains and enforces entrance procedures of all controlled areas to ensure non-contamination of product; reports non-conformance to appropriate personnelAssists other Clean Room personnel in the proper contamination control; seeks to minimize contamination by adhering to established containment proceduresHandle and move parts throughout the shift; parts may be fragile and some may be heavyWork at a steady, semi‑medium production pace while maintaining quality and accuracyAssists and/or performs in any and all areas as assignedMay work any and all shifts/days as requiredJob Requirements:Hours:Graveyard Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AMShift Differential: $2.50/hourTraining Requirement: Must be able to attend one week orientation on Day Shift, but will train on Graveyard shift after first weekEducation:High School diploma or equivalent OR manufacturing experience in a clean room environmentExperience:Minimum 6 months related work experiencePrior clean room experience strongly preferredExperience working with automated or semi‑automated equipment is highly desirableExperience with manufacturing a plusFunctional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong reading comprehension is critical—must be able to read, understand, and strictly follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and OMS documentationExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityExhibits strong interpersonal, and organizational skills, great attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgroundsAbility to stand for most of the shiftsTarget Hiring RangeHourly: USD 19.00 - USD 22.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
