Our Restaurant Splash located in Ogunquit is looking for a self motivated line cook join our small team of about 6 in serving fresh California beach cuisine. Daily Duties Cook and prepare a variety of foods, quantities, styles, according to the menu and demand of the businessUse and or learn proper knife skills, cooking techniques, cooking methods and terminologyRead, understand and follow standardized recipes when preparing all foods for all food venues and outletsClearly communicate with management and front of house employees on a daily basisGenerate weekly food orders, maintain proper par and stock levelsMaintain a clean, organized and sanitized work area all while following all city, state and federal health/food safety regulations and codesResponsible for making sure that all areas of their assigned venue/outlet/kitchen are taken care of and all assigned duties are completedKeep food/storage areas (refrigeration, freezer, dry storage) clean, organized, labeled and datedClean equipment, tools, floors, work stations and food prep areasMaintain a positive and professional work environmentContributes to a team effort and accomplishes all tasksOther duties as requiredRequirements & QualificationsConsistently available to work scheduled shiftsWillingness to take direction, learn and adapt Team playerSolid communication skills Minimum or little cooking experience required.
