This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Key Responsibilities: Payment ProcessingRecord and apply customer payments from various banks (checks, ACH, wire transfers)Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve discrepencies Compliance & DocumentationMaintain accruate financial records in accordance with company policies.Support audits by provididing documentation and explanationsEnsure confidentiality and security of financial dataAssists with the verification and entering of invoices, expenses and credits for payment to vendors and employees. Monitors due dates to ensure timely and accurate payments to foreign vendors. Responds to vendor and customer inquiries.Ensures compliance with Company commitment and spending policies and assists internal managers and other responsible users in proper procedures.Prepares vouchers for payment.Prepares batches of customer payments deposited into our bank accounts for posting to the receivable ledger.Enters internal credit memos, refund requests, and adjustments. Conducts research and/or reconciles vendor and customer accounts, as necessary. May assist in reviews, investigations and corrections of errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.Reconciles cash receipts to daily bank deposits and tracks deposit activity.Assists with organizing and maintaining file system of accounting records.May assist with special projects and the external auditors, as needed.Other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceAssociates degree or equivalent from accredited two-year college preferred; 1-3 years related experience and/or training in Account Receivable or general accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
