Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machinist Location: Irvine, CA Pay Range: $34 Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM - Monday to Friday (training will be on first shift) What's the Job? + Perform operations such as drilling, tapping, reaming, and boring on various workpieces, ensuring dimensional accuracy. + Create setups and operate CNC machines according to specific programs and work instructions using DNC links. + Work from engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments. + Read and interpret engineering drawings with an understanding of geometric tolerances. + Inspect finished work and complete all necessary inspection paperwork, maintaining quality standards. What's Needed? + High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. + Minimum of five (5) years of previous work experience as a Machinist. + Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. + Experience with Lathe operations, particularly 2-3 axis (Mazak experience preferred). + Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and use various measuring tools.
