Military Occupational Specialty Code: 12A, 12H, EA, CB, BU, 1361, 3E5X1 Responsibilities u2022 Prepare dayu2019s inspection and work schedule u2022 Interface with lead and supervisor for direction and assignments u2022 Verify materials, workmanship, and specification/code requirements u2022 Ensure that contractors are working within the guidelines and specifications set forth by permits u2022 Perform inspections and documentation of in-process, start-up, and operations activity u2022 Trouble-shoot engineering design and participates in resolution of issues u2022 Complete detailed inspection records and maintains technical and other pertinent documents, as directed u2022 Perform inspections in accordance with inspection plan, monitors inspection duties assigned to subcontractors, and reviews results of inspections u2022 Identifies and monitors performance of witness and hold points in Work Planning packages u2022 Identify nonconforming items and corrective action requirements; initiate nonconformance reports and monitors status through closure of corrective action u2022 Maintain databases through established project standard computer applications u2022 Create Dailies and QC reports for invoicing u2022 Perform Quality Control Inspections to ensure that work activities meet required quality standards u2022 Conduct contractor site inspections for safety and proper setup u2022 Check job sites for damage, and if found immediately reports to supervisor u2022 Respond to customer complaints and affect resolutions u2022 Create internal memorandum advising the supervisor of any subcontractoru2019s negligence before the matter escalates to the client u2022 Assist crews when needed to complete the job, within reason Qualifications Required: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 No experience required and on the job training provided u2022 Must possess valid, unexpired driveru2019s license u2022 No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred: u2022 One (1) year of similar experience preferred u2022 Prior surveyor or Quality Control experience preferred u2022 Possession of an Inspector Certification in a technical field is preferred REQNUMBER: 151005ABM is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer qualified applicants without regard race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran or any other protected factor under federal, state, or local law.
