Description Are you an experienced human resources professional seeking your next opportunity? Our client in Windsor, CT, is looking for a contract HR Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at relationship-building, and enjoy supporting every aspect of the employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as a main point of contact for employee relations, benefits administration, and HR policy questions. + Manage voluntary and involuntary onboarding/offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews. + Support recruitment activities: sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews. + Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. + Collaborate with business leaders and employees to drive performance management and engagement initiatives. + Administer employee benefits and support open enrollment periods. + Assist with reporting, records management, and special HR projects as needed. Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 2+ years generalist experience in HR with core strengths in benefits, onboarding, recruitment, and compliance. + Working knowledge of HRIS/database systems. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
