Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to assist with a fixed asset inventory project within a healthcare environment. This short-term contract position involves working onsite at a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, to ensure accurate tracking and tagging of assets. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct physical counts of fixed assets throughout the hospital facility. u2022 Tag and verify equipment with asset labels to ensure proper tracking. u2022 Compare existing asset registers with physical inventory to identify discrepancies. u2022 Record and report items that are missing or unlisted in the asset register. u2022 Recommend updates or corrections to asset records based on findings. u2022 Maintain a detail-oriented and precise approach while working in areas with patient care. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure all inventory tasks are completed efficiently. u2022 Adhere to structured processes and guidelines for inventory management. Requirements u2022 Previous experience in inventory management, asset tracking, or auditing. u2022 Familiarity with healthcare or hospital environments is required. u2022 Ability to work onsite in clinical settings while respecting patient care spaces. u2022 Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures. u2022 Comfortable walking, standing, and navigating large facilities for extended periods. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently. u2022 Knowledge of inventory systems or asset tracking tools preferred.
