JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities Understand and perform to allapplicable regulatory and compliance requirements. Perform testing, asscheduled. Support sample evaluation and processing, as needed. Performon-call, weekend, and holiday work, as scheduled. Perform reagentpreparation, as scheduled. Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routinemaintenance and calibration on equipment. Support customer inquiries viaphone, email, and lab information system (LIS). Support the maintenanceof reagent and supply inventory. Maintain sample integrity and ensureproper identification of all specimens. May participate in validations.May support training, as assigned. Maintain organization of departmentalrecords, as needed. May assist in educating fellows, residents,students, and visitors to the laboratory. May support preparation ormanagement of proficiency samples in the laboratory. May release resultsin accordance to training and compliance requirements. Review daily workfor accuracy and escalate as appropriate. May provide support fortransfusion product selection, as applicable.
