Dreamily Delicious, Inc. d/b/a Cocojune has an opening for Logistics and Supply Chain Engineer in New York, New York. The Logistics and Supply Chain Engineers duties are to: Manage databases of logistics information including the levels of ingredients, materials, and availability of these items so that production processes run smoothly; Research and devise actionable plans for short term shortages in certain ingredients or materials, especially those that are shipped from overseas; Ensure the consistent delivery of inventory to production sites using tracking tools and communication with service providers, resolving issues as they become apparent; Act as partner with raw ingredient providers, freight companies, and others key stakeholders to ensure aligned business practices and values; Ensure products are going to be made on schedule by producer and relevant deliveries leave facilities and arrive on time to retailers, solve short-term logistics issues as they arise; Own data processes and all logistics processes to foresee long terms goals, plan for material and ingredient alternatives foreseeing such issues as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation; Serve as point of reference for all logistics issues for senior management so they and executives can properly plan for alternative business courses in light of any major logistic and supply chain issues.Requires Bachelors degree in logistics and supply chain management, business, or a related field such as engineering. Additionally requires knowledge in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, and Transportation Planning; theoretical knowledge of process improvement and Six Sigma methodologies; familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Data extraction and modeling using Excel Power Query and Power Pivot, DAX.
