Perform experiments, report results, and preparereports, participate with the development of new technology, purchaseslab supplies and participate in grant preparation using the knowledge ofMolecular & Cell Biology and iPSC Culture & Differentiation; NextGeneration Sequencing; Clinical & Translational Research; and TransgenicRodent Colony Management & Rodent Surgeries. Contribute to thedevelopment and review of strategic and operational plans using theknowledge of Molecular & Cell Biology and iPSC Culture &Differentiation; Next Generation Sequencing; Clinical & TranslationalResearch; and Transgenic Rodent Colony Management & Rodent Surgeries.Maintain, repair, and oversee the handling of laboratory equipment andsupplies in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsusing the knowledge of Molecular & Cell Biology and iPSC Culture &Differentiation; Next Generation Sequencing; Clinical & TranslationalResearch; and Transgenic Rodent Colony Management & Rodent Surgeries.Develop, oversee, and/or implement research standard operatingprocedures, ensuring laboratory personnel and students maintain currentknowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment operationsusing the knowledge of Molecular & Cell Biology and iPSC Culture &Differentiation; Next Generation Sequencing; Clinical & TranslationalResearch; and Transgenic Rodent Colony Management & Rodent Surgeries.Assist in the interview process and selection of undergraduates,graduate students, and medical students for laboratory positions(volunteer and paid) and on-board new personnel on laboratory biologicaland chemical safety procedures using the knowledge of Molecular & CellBiology and iPSC Culture & Differentiation; Next Generation Sequencing;Clinical & Translational Research; and Transgenic Rodent ColonyManagement & Rodent Surgeries. Facilitate communication and directday-to-day work of students, including training and supervision onindividual projects, providing guidance, and reviewing collected datausing the knowledge of Molecular & Cell Biology and iPSC Culture &Differentiation; Next Generation Sequencing; Clinical & TranslationalResearch; and Transgenic Rodent Colony Management & Rodent Surgeries.Ensure experiments comply with regulatory aspects of research programs,including safety and quality control using the knowledge of Molecular &Cell Biology and iPSC Culture & Differentiation; Next GenerationSequencing; Clinical & Translational Research; and Transgenic RodentColony Management & Rodent Surgeries.Write IACUC animal protocols, IRBhuman research protocols, and other regulatory protocols; develop andoptimize research methods; and Grant and Publication Assistance usingthe knowledge of Molecular & Cell Biology and iPSC Culture &Differentiation; Next Generation Sequencing; Clinical & TranslationalResearch; and Transgenic Rodent Colony Management & Rodent Surgeries.
