Job Title: Dispatcher II (Bilingual) Req ID: 16458 HR Contact: Fredric Victor THOMPSON Location: Plano Willow Bend Office TX ABOUT THE ROLE Dispatcher II is responsible for on time performance, order accuracy and maintaining and growing overall truck fleet while maintaining DOT compliance. Assist in growing the companyu2019s hauler selection, DOT compliance, assure compliance with company policies, risk management, DOT another regulatory requirements. Develop current customer base. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH u2022 Personally promote the Core value of Zero Accidents & Incidents to all operations u2022 Actively engage with customers, haulers and weigh masters to reinforce safe behaviors u2219 u2022 Actively participate and assist with annual Transportation Safety Initiatives for haulers u2022 Display a positive a problem solving attitude u2022 Identify substitute products, operating hour adjustments, and service opportunities across site portfolio u2022 Maintain frequent communication with plant and sales team u2022 Coordinate directly with customers and contracted haulers; Choose best haul solution for each order u2022 Maintain productive and professional relationships with haulers u2022 Utilize, maintain and update hauler directory u2022 Attract new haulers to ensure division has access to the adequate number of trucks u2022 Dispatch trucks, track performance in real time; monitor demand, utilization, and capacity while prioritization work distribution u2022 Identify optimization and backhaul opportunities u2022 Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to heallth, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
